The role of Porter (Radiology) at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is essential for facilitating patient movements and supporting the radiology department's operations. Porters are responsible for transporting patients and their medical notes to and from the examination areas, as well as managing waste disposal in compliance with Trust policies. Candidates must be prepared to work a flexible rota covering seven days a week between 8 am and 8 pm, and they will collaborate with the Portering Supervisor and Head of Portering to ensure a high-quality service is maintained.

Successful applicants will contribute to a positive image of the department and Trust, effectively communicating with staff to address any issues that arise. This position requires a commitment to teamwork and a focus on patient care, making it a critical support role within the radiology team.
