MENTAL HEALTH NHS
The South West London and St Georges Mental Health NHS Trust is seeking a Clinical/Counselling/Educational Psychologist for an innovative role aimed at enhancing mental health support in schools through a new national initiative. The position offers the opportunity to supervise and train a Mental Health Support Team (MHST) in Roehampton and Putney, consisting of EMHP trainees and qualified clinicians, while providing specialized clinical interventions for children and young people in primary and secondary schools. Candidates will be responsible for overseeing the team's operations, addressing safeguarding issues, and working collaboratively with schools to implement a whole school approach to mental health.

The role requires strong experience in a CAMHS setting and proficiency in CBT and parenting principles to effectively supervise team members. Additional perks include full funding for a Kings College London CYP IAPT supervision course, the potential for EMDR training in 2026, and a supportive peer network for professional development. The position is flexible, advertised as four days a week with possible options for full-time, term-time only work, allowing ample opportunity for personal growth and contribution to an evolving mental health service.
